Mandhana Industries, which recently signed an

exclusive tie-up with Salman Khan for retailing the ‘Being Human’ brand, has reported that its net profit increased 24 percent to Rs 21 crores. Net sales were up 37 percent at Rs 310 crores. Manish Mandhana, Joint Managing Director, said the first venture with ‘Being Human’ has achieved a good response with the launch of two exclusive brand outlets in Mumbai and one each in Ahmedabad and Ludhiana.

“Our fabrics and garments segment has also supplemented the growth rate. With the increase in garment capacity and adding of exclusive stores and distribution selling points will facilitate better growth in the coming quarters,” Mandhana added.

Mandhana Industries, which has the exclusive license to manufacture, distribute and retail Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’ apparel range worldwide, has entered into a commercial pact with the Dubai-based retail giant Landmark Group to retail ‘Being Human’ merchandise in group’s MBOs Splash & ICONIC in the Middle East.
