Indian fashion designer Manish Arora, known for his colourful showcases during Paris Fashion Week, has chosen

the French capital for his debut flagship store.

Formerly creative director at Paco Rabanne, Manish Arora has had a long-standing relationship with Paris since 2007 when he showcased his first catwalk show in the city, and he is even a member of the Fédération française de la Couture, du Prêt à Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode.

His debut flagship is located at 5 rue Rouget-de-L'Isle, between the Tuileries garden and rue Saint-Honoré, and spans 130 square metres offering his ready-to-wear, accessories and selected pieces from his Indian by Manish Arora collection, which was previously exclusive to the Indian market.

The store designed by Milan and Paris-based studio of Riccardo Haiat, also features a curated selection of Arora’s favourite items including Varanasi toys, artwork, small trinkets and unique pieces. At the rear of the store is space to host exhibitions, presentation and private events for the brand, making it the label’s Parisian headquarters.

The opening follows the success of his concession at Galeries Lafayette and the Galerie Joyce pop-up shop.
