Manish Arora to open maiden store in Paris

Designer Manish Arora is ready to launch his store on international shores. His first flagship is expected to open in Paris by the end

of September. The designer is all set to showcase his colorful collection during the Paris Fashion Week. The 30 to 35 percent growth in sales at his pop-up store at Joyce Gallery prompted Arora to launch a store in the fashion capital of the world. Around 1,000 square foot unit on Rue Rouget de Lisle will also host a showroom and an office.

It may be recalled that at the Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers India Couture Week (ICW) in July this year, he presented an enchanting colourful range titled ‘The Peacock’, inspired from the Peacock Room in Castello di Sammezzano in Italy's Tuscany region. Ensembles designed by him had multicolour stripes, gold rexine embroideries, and 3D highlights on the base of bright colours. Applique, zari, peacock textures and traditional embroideries were so aptly interwoven that they truly represented blend Indian aesthetic with European sensibility.
