Metro Shoes has opened its 4th store

in Pune at Premier Plaza. Spread over 1,362 sq. ft. the newly inaugurated store stocks more than 11,000 pairs of ladies’, men’s and kid’s shoes. As in all Metro Shoes stores, the product range is customized to fit local tastes and fashion trends. It also houses men’s and women’s accessories such as handbags, wallets, belts and shoe care products.

Metro Shoes is one of the top fashion footwear retailers in India, with a countrywide network across 215 prime locations, offering a mix of Indian and international designs. The first Metro Shoes store was launched in Colaba, Mumbai in 1947. It is also the first footwear company in India to have successfully started and implemented the e-commerce model. The company operates as an MBO across Tier I, II and III markets. As of fiscal year 2010-11, Metro Shoes has clocked in a turnover of Rs 411 crores.
