Michael Kors store launched at Quest Mall, Kolkata

One of the world’s leading designer brand offering accessories and ready-to-wear,

Michael Kors opened a new store at Quest Mall in Kolkata. Spread over 1,367 square foot, the store is a destination for shoppers looking for accessories from the Michael Kors collection and a wide range of watches, jewellery, footwear and eyewear. It will also carry a selection of the brand’s fragrances.

Designed by the brand’s in-house team of designers, the store showcases elements like zebra-print furniture, metal and mirrored surfaces along with glossy, large-scale vintage photographs exuding the sophistication of the label.

In 2013, Michael Kors partnered New Delhi-based Genesis Luxury Fashion to open stores in the country. The brand is said to have entered into a franchising agreement with its domestic partner. In the past, Genesis Luxury has brought several iconic labels like Paul Smith, Bottega Veneta, Jimmy Choo, Etro, Armani, Crabtree and Evelyn, Furla and Tumi. Genesis has also entered into a joint venture with UK’s Burberry to form Burberry India and the classic menswear Italian luxury label Canali to form Canali India.
