With 25 percent growth target this fiscal and over Rs 18-19

crores turnover last fiscal, Milano Impex that houses Egle & Louis Alberti footwear line, has retail expansion plans in the pipeline. The company already enjoys a presence through MBOs and EBOs.

It has witnessed steady growth in the country for over a decade. The range is available with 170 MBOs like Metro Shoes, Mochi, Rocia, Inc. 5, Regal, Shoe Tree, D-Shoe Lounge and Studio M. Plans are afoot to reach a target of 240 stores by the end of this year. The footwear collection of the company is also available on its e-commerce platform. The company has grown 200 percent since its launch.

Egle & Louis Alberti first India store was launched in Chandigarh and it contributes around 10 percent to its total sales. The company perceives, consumers in Punjab as a very fashion conscious lot with higher spending capacity. So the company is now looking to expand its reach in various parts of Punjab like Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Patiala followed by Delhi and Mumbai at a later stage.
