After the tremendous success of first ‘India Kids Fashion Week’

(IKFW), Mumbai is ready to host season two, scheduled from January 18-19, 2014 at The Lalit. It’s touted as Asia’s largest kids’ fashion show and gives a platform to children in the age group is 4 to 14 years, to walk the ramp with the crème-de-la-crème of the fashion industry including ace designers and celebrities.

At the moment, IKFW is inviting kids to register and participate in this one-of-a-kind extravaganza. The first edition was a signature affair, which placed India on the global kids’ fashion map. It’s an initiative to give India’s fashion fraternity for kids’, which is bursting with potential, a platform to showcase their confidence and an opportunity to leave a mark in the global fashion industry.

The last edition held in Mumbai in January 2013, saw over 200 children walking the ramp, while celebrity parents accompanied their little ones. Showcasing twenty kids’ brands and designers, the event featured many reputed names, including Narendra Kumar, Nishika Luula, Rocky S, Malini Ramani, Gaurav and Ritika, Nandita Basu and Payal Singhal. Bollywood stars celebs Sushmita Sen, Dia Mirza, Sohail Khan, choregrapher Terence Lewis among others walked the. Feedback from buyers, designers and brands revealed that the business generated was remarkable.

IKFW works as a platform to guide and support young talent. ‘Kids Talent Show’ conducts a variety of initiatives aimed at discovering a child's hidden talent and all-round potential early enough to maximize it.
