Namrata’s line for Kidology

Namrata Joshipura who loves color and embellishments has launched her first kidswear

collection at the store Kidology. Appliqué flowers and sequins detailing have been executed in fresh colors. The use of vibrant colors in dresses and kurtas is meant to appeal to children. Apart from dresses, the collection also comprises of an ethnic wear line for kids. With the festival season round the corner, Joshipura’s collection is definitely going to help mothers while shopping.

Kidology is a collection of designer wear for kids and expectant mothers. It houses exclusive designs by renowned Indian designers including Gauri & Nainika, Gaurav Gupta, Malini Ramani, Ritu Kumar and now Namrata Joshipura. The store also offers a line of kids’ accessories, including handbags, shoes, jewelry and a furniture line named Little Vadehra for Kidology, which is a collection manufactured using eco-friendly materials.

Kidology launched its first store in January 2010 in New Delhi. The vision behind Kidology is to develop a lifestyle concept which incorporates various spheres of design under its umbrella. Also key Indian designers were approached to design kids’ and maternity collections that would be manufactured and distributed under the Kidology label. As far as possible, eco-friendly fibers and elements are used.
