Narendra Kumar amongst India’s top known designer is

launching his own line of denim wear, Killer Nari, in association with Killer jeans early next year. He has produced a line of denim wear in association with the brand Killer. Called Killer Nari, the line has Jodhpur jeans in a dark wash, drop-crotch jeans patterned with fade-away embroidery and chic jumpsuits in silken blue. This will be sold in stores like Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle and Killer’s own outlets. Moreover, there will also be the kind of stuff that only the designer might be able to pull off like polka-dotted sports jackets and pink-blue-green chequered shirts. Targeted towards the youth the collection will be available in an affordable range between Rs 1,500-3,000.

A graduate of NIFT, Delhi, and a student of London School of Fashion, Kumar is a widely respected name in the fashion business. He works with many fashion publications and has been a fashion consultant for some top clothing brands. He started his own designer line under Narendra Kumar for men and women and has two flagship stores in Mumbai and in Delhi. The designer has styled clothes for Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion. He believes in designing wearable clothes and doesn’t agree with the idea of showcasing weird clothes in the name of fashion and creativity.
