Neeru’s now in Hyderabad

Neeru’s, the successful Hyderabad-based ethnic fusion wear and accessories chain opened

another retail out in Hyderabad.  They already have a store in Bangalore. Both the outlets, in Hyderabad and Bangalore were designed by the international interior design company Design For Change (DFC). DFC is an innovation led design firm, with expertise in branding, retail, graphics, interior and furniture design. The team at DFC is a unit of multi-skilled designers from around the world, stationed in Bangalore, with network in major fashion and design capitals of the world.

Sanjay Agarwal, Director, DFC said about the Neeru’s project that they planned the store in a manner that it does not resemble a ‘cluttered Indian bazaar’, which is very familiar with the target consumer which this store will invite. Both of Neeru’s stores have been designed and planned keeping their target customers and their buying behavior in mind.

As the average shopping time of customers and their family is large in these stores, one needs to provide lot of seating and hence ergonomics of all furniture change in these stores, as compared to westernized departmental stores which are more self browsing mode. Additionally, both outlets have been designed to be environmentally conscious with a special illumination design that consumes 50 per cent less electricity than other Neeru’s outlets, as well as an energy efficient air-conditioning system.
