NTC launches ‘Young Designer Hunt’

With the idea of giving the industry a good pool of fresh

talent National Textile Corporation (NTC) has announced the commencement of ‘Young Designer Hunt’, the biggest search for talented designers across the nation. NTC, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Textiles, is among the top clothiers of the country. The organization is all set to add a new dimension to the rich tradition of Indian textile industry with its talent hunt which will help young talent to showcase their creative ideas to the industry.

This designer hunt will be monitored by ace designer Raghavendra Rathore. He will be supervising the hunt and personally training the young designers. Rathore is best known for his diversity of design which creates the right mix of aesthetics, fashion and tradition. Rathore feels that the efforts that have been put into this talent hunt by NTC will be beautifully nurtured into creating a new generation of designers to work for NTC.

Anand Sharma, Union Minister of Commerce, Industry and Textiles says “The designer hunt will not only help young designers in showcasing their creativity but will also help NTC in fulfilling its commitment of transforming itself into a world class, eco-friendly, integrated textile corporation.”

The Young Designer Hunt will choose designers who will work with the company in its new global retail offering, ‘Brand India’, which is a golden opportunity for fresh designers to start off and take forward their career in this industry.
NTC
