OCM India brings Italian designer on board for winter collection

Well known fabric manufacturer OCM India has joined hands with Italian designer

M Cristina Fedriani, to launch a premium winter collection by the end of September. Fedriani established and manages Progetto Stile, a service company working in the fashion market for around 25 years. OCM is also set to launch a women's wear range and ready-to-wear sweater and pure silk ties.

The company has created around 850 designs comprising of 5,000 shades around 3 themes: the gentlemen's club, urban style and essential daily wear. OCM feels that the urban Indian customer understands and appreciates Italian designs, so it decided to tie up with Fedriani and has been working with her since last three years.

Fedriani started with a small pilot project and went on to create the winter range for OCM India after understanding Indian tastes, since Indian customers would not have accepted a collection completely Italian in nature. Available in various shades like red, green, blue and purple, the winter collection is made up of blends like wool-silk, Lycra, wool-poly and many others.
