Only ventures into east India with two stores in Kolkata

European fashion brand Only, owned by Bestseller Group, has ventured into

Eastern India by opening two stores in Kolkata at Forum mall and Quest. The Only store at Quest mall is spread across 800 square foot, the store at Forum Mall is spread across an area of 1,000 square foot.

The new stores follow a single retail design theory worldwide. Originated in Denmark, the store’s interiors have a distinct look with elements for the wall which are essentially wood, cemented corrugated sheets and white plastered bricks that add a rugged feel to the environment. Flooring and fixtures too follow brand’s design and visual merchandising philosophy.

On offer are Spring/Summer’14 collections by the brand. The clothes are inspired by the latest runway trends. The collection incorporates trends like floral prints, feathers, denims, graphical tribal influences, nautical inspirations, pop colours and tropical trends.

Bestseller India has 96 exclusive brand outlets and is present in over 228 shop-in-shops and multi-brand stores throughout India. Worldwide, the group is present in 46 countries through more than 2,800 chain stores and 12,000 multi-brand stores.

Bestseller is a family-owned clothing and accessories company founded in Denmark in 1975 by Merete Bech Povlsen and Troels Holch Povlsen. It has 3,000 chain stores across 38 markets worldwide and its products are sold in about 12,000 multi-brand and department stores in 53 markets worldwide.
