Organic apparels from Aura Herbal

Aura Herbal Textile known for using only certified organic yarns and fabrics for making

its products, has introduced a range of organic clothing through its newly launched exclusive showroom in Ahmedabad. With the launch of ‘Aura Herbal’ organic apparels and accessories collection, the company plans to open five to six more exclusive showrooms in India in the next 12 months. And it expects the retail arm to contribute more than five per cent to its revenue. About 10 years back, the company began manufacturing and processing herbal textiles building on its experience into industry waste recycling.

Before launching its own stores, Aura Herbal worked on B2C model, wherein it supplied herbal textiles to international brands like Esprit and Levi’s. With the opening of its new showroom in Ahmedabad the company will stock a range of herbal dyed products such as shirts, T-shirts, stoles, scarves, bags, fabrics and spa items like shower towels, face towels, hand towels, innerwear and other organic products.

It is looking forward to achieving an annual turnover growth of Rs 150 million by the next financial year from the current Rs 40 million. It also plans to build a herbal dyeing institute offering short-term courses on organic textiles and herbal dyeing for students and people from the textile industry.
