Orthaheel strides into men’s footwear

Well-known footwear company SSL-TTK Limited – who market the

internationally renowned Scholl’s range of foot care products in India- recently launched Orthaheel formal footwear for men in India. These are stylish and comfortable and suitable for regular wear. The company had launched the Orthaheel footwear last year adding to the range of shoe inserts, which are extremely effective in treating foot conditions like excess or over-pronation.

The special features of this new range of Orthaheel formal shoes are that it has a firm stabilizing heel counter for foot support, an inbuilt foot bed for rear foot control and arch support,. It’s lightweight and has a slip resistant PU outsole as well as a molded EVA for maximum support and comfort. Available in the three variants of President lace shoes, Executive slip on shoes and Explorer Mocassins priced at Rs 3,299 in the all-time favorite colors of black and brown. The Orthaheel formal footwear range will be available at 40 select retail outlets like Lifestyle, Metro, Reliance footprints and Central across India.

To address foot problems Orthaheel already has in its range of products like orthotic shoe inserts casual footwear and sports shoes and this range of formal shoes will increase its market share in the footwear category. Orthaheel shoes are scientifically designed to align our feet and address the problems arising from excess pronation which could lead to weakening of arch, tilting of the heel or rotation of leg, which may lead to heel pain, back of heel pain or knee pain.

SSL-TTK Limited was incorporated in 2000 as a JV between SSL International plc, UK, and TTK-LIG, had launched a range of Orthotic inserts under the brand Orthaheel in mid 2008.
