Designer duo Parvesh and Jai are just back from an exhibition in Hong Kong, where they

checked the possibility of outsourcing materials such as crystals, buttons and threads. Their collection is designed for very special occasions. It has the essence of Raasleela in the form of flowers, birds, leaves drapes and textures. Their high end couture line, Raasleela, retails from exclusive stores in Paris, Milan, South Africa, US, Greece and Turkey.

Having graduated from NIFT in 2002 they made a fashion splash and by 2004 they were designing for Bollywood celebrities like Tanushree Dutta and Nepalese royalty. They have a design studio in Delhi and have launched a swimwear brand Blue Coral in 2006. Blue Coral translates the trendy beach lifestyle through its kaftans, bikinis, beach bags, beach towels and resort dresses. The duo is also engaged in creating ensembles for over 400 people for a Bollywood night, which is to happen in Los Angeles soon. They hope this will reaffirm India’s image of becoming a fashion hub. They also plan to come up with a new concept altogether, which according to Parvesh would change the way we embrace fashion and most importantly facilitate a lot of people, who otherwise go ignored.
