Swiss luxury watch brand Jaeger LeCoultre has unveiled a watch where it has used the
Pataudi family crest. The brand’s iconic Reverso watch has a case that slides within its base and rotates on its own axis. The watches were launched in the presence of Bollywood star and son of Nawab Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan. It was presented to Khan and Kareena Kapoor at the brand's 80th anniversary party. The same Swiss watch company also flew down a special watch from Switzerland for Saif to wear during the Cannes film festival this year. The Reverso watch was originally created for polo players in 1931. To prevent damage, Jaeger LeCoultre created the Reverso watch which cab flipped around to an all-metal backing thereby protecting the timepiece. The Reverso watch was commissioned for British officers who were posted in India in the early 1900's. Today, Reverso watches remain one of the most recognizable watches in the world and a staple in every watch enthusiast's collection. Jaeger LeCoultre has been developing watches since 1833 and subjects all of its watches to an extremely rigorous, continuous 1,000 hour test. Only after successfully passing this test is a watch allowed to leave the factory. This ensures a very consistent and accurate timepiece distinguishing JLC from the rest.
