Italian sportswear brand Paul & Shark, which has a 1,100 sq. ft. outlet in New Delhi’s

DLF Emporio, is planning to start another 15 outlets. To start with, it plans to open two outlets, one in Hyderabad and the other Mumbai soon. The company has entered into 50:50 business partnerships with Reliance Brands. The New Delhi store offers Indian consumers a complete menswear collection that can be worn to diverse places and social occasions. The collection includes casual and elegant clothes like shirts and polos, top performing knits and sweaters, lightweight and technical outerwear, pants. A wide range of accessories and footwear are also available to give the attire a complete look. However, it’s facing challenges, while striving to target the Indian men’s garment sector. These relate mainly to a shortfall of suitable retail outlets, locating the appropriate site and creating the milieu to sell the brand.



Paul & Shark has more than 200 outlets which sell garments for children, men and women, in cities like Paris, Milan, New York, Moscow, Dubai, Seoul and Shanghai. Paul & Shark has a tradition of quality clothing and classic looks. It’s known for stylish jumpers which are ideal for rigorous outdoor activities as well as for the casual night in town. Lightweight, durable and energetic it’s available in many styles, including the classic crew neck, quarter zips and full zips. The brand is also known for its quilted jacket, which has a full zip, lined pockets and detachable hoods and is made of the finest dyes and fabrics. Currently, the brand is testing a technologically advanced solution that resists the fading abilities of the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
