Pearl Academy students bag awards at ‘The Debut’

bagged the trophy and Special Jury Award at the grand finale of ‘The Debut’ by Wills Lifestyle in New Delhi recently. Deveesha Batra and Sanjana Jain who showcased their collections at the grand finale, were the other two finalists from Pearl Academy, a leading design and fashion education institute.

‘The Debut’ is an extension of Wills Lifestyle's association with 'Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week' and is a unique initiative recognising fresh talent in fashion designing. Students from other eminent fashion schools such as National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), National Institute of Design (NID), Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT), Amity School, Noida and J D Institute of Fashion Technology competed with each other at the regional rounds held at Kolkata, Bangaluru and Mumbai. Only the top 14 could make it to the grand finale at New Delhi.
“It is a great feeling to know and share that Pearl Academy has continued its winning streak this year as well. Four out of the last five years, our students have won this award becoming national winners. We are proud to have these jewels,” said Sharad Mehra, CEO, Pearl Academy about his students.
