Peter England to open 100 stores this fiscal

Men’s semi-formal brand from the Madura Fashion and Lifestyle stable, Peter England plans to open 100 more exclusive stores this fiscal. The

brand is aiming to achieve a 20 percent volume growth. In the last financial year, the company was able to witness growth of about 25 percent, helping it cross the Rs 1,000-crores turnover mark.

The company, which sells 10 million garments every year, added around 75 exclusive stores last fiscal, taking the total number of outlets to 650. Now the target is to increase the number to at least 750 stores this year.

Since its launch in India, Peter England has been the trusted brand for the young Indian who is entering his work life. The brand has been ranked yet again in the apparel category in the recently published ‘ET Most Trusted Brand Survey 2013’. Though, the brand’s efforts, in terms of product development and marketing activities have always been centered around the ‘early entrant’, it has attracted people from across age groups.
