Planet Sports new stores

Planet Sports, India’s largest multi-brand sports and lifestyle retail chain, with over 62 specialty

stores and presence across Pantaloon, Central and Brand Factory in 40 cities, has recently added three more stores to its retail chain. These have come up in Ranchi, Baroda and Hyderabad. The chain that was started in 2003, has today emerged as a one-stop shop for sports goods, sports wear and fitness equipment. A licensee and distributor, Planet Sports has the largest collection of international sports and lifestyle brands such as Speedo, Spalding, Prince, Etonic, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, and  Puma to name a few. The aim of the company is to be the most admired sports player in a multi-sports, multi-product format and to augment India’s sports culture.

The newly opened store, at Ranchi is spread over 1,300 sq ft. While the Baroda store occupies a retail space of 2,160 sq ft. Similarly, Planet Sports, Hyberabad, is spread over 2,200 sq. ft. Much like their other stores, the new stores are expected to emerge as a trend-setter in sports lifestyle apparel and footwear. They will house all renowned international sports and lifestyle brands in categories like swimming, tennis, squash, badminton, soccer, golf and basketball.
