Planet Sports opens 9th EBO in Mumbai

Planet Sports has opened a 9,340 sq. ft. store, in Infinity Mall,

Mumbai, its ninth standalone outlet and 22nd point of sale in Mumbai. The store, which promises to be a one-stop shop for all sports-related requirements, will offer an extensive range of sports and lifestyle brands such as Converse, Skechers, Wilson, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, Fila, Lotto and Puma, among many others. It has something for everyone across cricket, soccer, racquet sports, table tennis, basketball, water sports, golf, snooker, fitness and active living, adventure and outdoor gear, motor sports and indoor sports. Speaking about their expansion plans in Mumbai, Ravdeep Singh, CEO, Sports Division – Pantaloon Retail India said, “Mumbai is known in the international arena through its achievements in sports. Though a glamour and financial hub, it is also home to various sports and renowned players irrespective of the age, category and gender."

Planet Sports chain was started in 2003 and has today emerged as a one-stop shop for sports goods, sportswear and fitness equipment. It aims to be the most admired sports player in a multi-sports, multi-product format and to foster a sports culture in India.
