Planet Sports tops BSE’s A group

Planet Sports, a multi-brand sports and lifestyle specialty retail chain, jumped 6.90 per cent

to Rs 410.35, topping the gainers in BSE’s A group. Planet Sports is a division of Pantaloon Retail India. The lifestyle specialty retail chain recently opened its new outlet in Pune. The 4,000 sq. ft. area exclusive store is located at SGS Mall. The store offers consumers a wide selection of international sports and lifestyle brands such as Skechers, Wilson, Converse, Speedo, Prince, Reebok, Nike, Adidas etc. Planet Sports, the sports division of Pantaloon Retail India, has 77-plus specialty stores spread across 30 cities. As a licensee and distributor, Planet Sports has a large collection of international sports and lifestyle brands.

Pantaloon Retail, the group operates over 16 million sq. ft. of retail space in 73 cities and towns and 65 rural locations across India. Headquartered in Mumbai, Pantaloon Retail employs around 30,000 people and is listed on the Indian stock exchanges.
