Provogue unveils e-commerce portal

A leading fashion brand of India, Provogue, has now
logged on to the e-commerce bandwagon with the launch of its own portal. The new webstore will be selling all its merchandise including clothes, watches, sunglasses and other accessories for both men and women. Provogue is aimed at consumers in their late 20s. Many Indian apparel brands, are finding the online retail space lucrative. In fact, Provogue was already being retailed online through various e-commerce platforms like Jabong, Myntra, Homeshop18 and et al.Provogue’s new webstore will deliver products all across the country and assures delivery within two days for metros. The minimum order value is Rs 500 and the company will be charging extra Rs 50 for orders below this value.
It may be recalled that in January this year, Provogue had changed its strategy. It unveiled an advertisement that read, “You’ve changed. We’ve changed”. The change was evident through the use of models and not Bollywood stars to promote its new collection. It also changed the look and feel of its stores by changing the colour from ‘white and red’ to a more contemporary black. It also planned to launch new consumer products and fabrics to attract customers.
The Provogue was launched in 1998 as a menswear fashion range of contemporary clothing with a styling that made it uniquely relevant for the Indian market. It quickly established its leadership in the market. Over the years, the brand has evolved into a comprehensive collection of men’s and women’s fashion apparel and accessories. As of now, Provogue fashion collections are available through over 350 doors in more than 80 cities pan-India.
