Barely four years into Indian operations, sports lifestyle company Puma has set up 80 stores in the

country and is scouting for opportunities to further expand its reach into Tier II and III cities apart from metros. As of now, nearly 50 per cent of their stores are company-owned and the rest are franchisee operated.

The company is all set for the third essay of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the launch of new cricket gear, contests to make this IPL edition more attractive to fans. This is backed by Puma Cricket Challenge, a free downloadable mobile-based cricket game, with an intuitive interface. The brand currently works with cricketers like Adam Gilchrist, Brendon McCullum and Andrew Flintoff.

Coinciding with the third essay of IPL, Puma is all set to launch its new cricket equipment called Kinetic, Calibre and Iridium. Australian cricketers Adam Gilchrist, Symonds and Indian batsman V V S Laxman kicked off the launch of the new apparel range.
