Rajesh Exports has launched its first jewelry service centre in Bangalore. This will enable

customers to sell their old jewelry along with ascertaining the purity of their jewelry. The company has introduced the real rate per gram concept, which determines gold prices every hour as per changes in the international markets. Earlier, the company had entered into retail operation by opening of jewelry outlets in Karnataka and other parts of the country. With around 30 outlets across the country, Rajesh Exports is also planning to add another 30 outlets by the end of March 2011.

The company incorporated in 1990 makes gold and diamond jewelry, has a presence in the entire jewelry cycle, exports its products worldwide and distributes them within India to the wholesale jewelry market. Rajesh also retails its products through its own network of retail jewelry showrooms Shubh Jewellers spread across India. Since its inception the group has emphasized on research and development and has introduced several new designs and concepts of jewelry to the international market. It has one of the world’s largest jewelry databases of 29,000 designs. Rajesh Exports has posted a 2.26 times rise in its net profit to Rs 73.7 crores in the July-September period of the current financial year on the back of higher earnings from its retail jewelry business. Total revenue of the company during the second quarter also witnessed a 25.26 per cent rise to Rs 5,039.5 crores.
