Ace men’s wear designer Raghavendra Rathore has launched a children’s collection for boys.

With an eye on fostering awareness among his audience, the designer has put tiger motifs on some of his designs. And he has introduced variation by region. For example, while Mumbaikars prefer cotton fabrics for their children Delhiites are partial towards silks. There are bandhgalas and formals for little boys. The clothes are for those with a classic sense of style as opposed to a flamboyant one — it will probably fit in line with children who go to boarding schools, value heritage and are glued to cricket and polo. Also on the line is a clothing line for little girls.

Raghavendra Rathore a Jodhpur royal, has established himself in the world of fashion. His work has a clean and modern sensibility that is driven by a holistic vision of luxury inspired by the old world charm of Rajasthan. He has designed wardrobes for celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. He offers a great mix of textures, modern fabrics, cuts and colors. He also works in various mediums like web design, interior and home furnishing design, iron and wood furniture design and fashion design.
