Ravi Bajaj opens new store in New Delhi

Designer Ravi Bajaj has opened doors to a new store at DLF Emporio mall in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The store is stocked

with rows of kurtas and sherwanis against backdrop of iconic paintings of Caravaggio's ‘Young Bacchus getting Drunk’ and Michelangelo's ‘The Creation of Adam’. And the rows where his saris and gowns are lined up, Botticelli's ‘Birth of Venus’ perfectly sits in the background behind them.

This open-faced flagship store will offer all of Bajaj's collection, everything from men's shirts to women's lehengas and his designs for summer 2014 are already adorning the racks of the new store.

Whether it is the use of fabrics, silhouettes or structuring techniques, Bajaj is known for exquisite sense of styles, he creates through his collection. He is known for the fusion of Indian sensibility with modern touch that he blends perfectly in his designs. Bajaj started his eponymous label way back in 1987.
