45,000 to Rs 8,00,000. The brand has six boutiques in India and also sells through a mix of shop-in-shops and retail point of sales. Going forward, the brand expects growth from Tier II, III cities, where it will have more of shop-in-shops than exclusive stores. Raymond Weil is aiming for a 25 percent growth this calendar year.

Raymond Weil is among the few luxury watch makers who are active on social networking sites. This is because in metros, more young people are going for luxury watches, and one way of tapping them is on Facebook and Twitter. In fact Raymond Weil is planning to launch a brand, which will be available only through the web for the Indian consumers.

Close to 70 percent of the watch market in India is for men. Women get attracted by other luxury things as well like necklaces, bags etc while men in India prefer luxury watches.
