Rinku Sobti’s new collection

Delhi-based fashion designer Ritu Sobti has unveiled her latest ethnic collection of occasion wear.

The collection is an apt festive wear and has unusual patterns and intelligent use of elements. Encompassing a range of gowns, lehengas and tunics, her collection is available in vibrant colors including pink, red, green, pearl, and blue. Fabrics like jersey, organza, dupion, crushed satins etc, have been used generously. The new collection and styles is targeted at people who have chic tastes and love fashion. It’s an amalgamation of love, beauty, romance and fashion.

For instance the red dress has been embellished with beautiful green, turquoise and yellow-colored embroidery work with colorful stones and beads. Likewise a pink lehenga has a deep grey pleated top. The dupatta with the dress has a double shaded color with block printing. The green georgette skirt with a green and copper corset is cut into a panel ensuring it is loose and flowing.

The designer launched her own brand, Rinku Sobti, in 1995. It encompasses a perfect blend of western cuts and Indian ethnic designs. She customizes outfits for clients that make each garment special and unique as she takes the clients inputs and their lifestyle into consideration. Presently, she has her exclusive store in Delhi.
