Two years ago, Gitanjali Group, the country's largest
integrated jewelry maker and pioneer in branded jewelry had launched Rivaaz, a line of 18K Gold Cubic Zircon jewelry in India. Recently, Rivaaz roped in Indian cricket star Sreesanth and Bollywood actress and jewelry designer Riya Sen as its brand ambassadors. This is in keeping with brand’s target consumers, the modern Indian youth. They replace style icon and Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy.Shardah Uniyal, General Manager Marketing, Gitanjali Group, says with Sreesanth and Sen on board, winning more hearts will be easier as filmstars and sports personalities help establishing a connection between brands and end consumers. They now plan to focus on the west and southern markets with a presence across 400 outlets including approximately 20 EBOs by 2015.
The brand is inspired by Indian culture, traditions and divinity. It caters to the modern day dynamic Indian woman who has a futuristic outlook with a traditionally inherited value system. The collection has more than 1,000 designs in rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces and bangles. It also has a range in religious pendants and Tanmanyas.
