Roberto Cavalli opens first flagship in Delhi

Iconic designer Roberto Cavalli launched his first-ever

luxury flagship store and a chic caffé at the Emporio Mall in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi last week. The Italian brand has forayed into the India market through a partnership with start-up firm Infinite Luxury Brands, jointly set up by Manav Gangwani, Dubai-based entrepreneur Sahiba Narang and finance expert Rahul Kapoor.

Speaking at the launch, the designer said he believes and is “sure that Indian ladies will love Cavalli clothes and will be great customers as my fashion seems perfect for them”. Adding he said, “Indian women are beautiful, sophisticated and sensual and they want to look divine and fantastic. I do believe in the Indian market and I love the taste for fashion of Indian people they have a way to mix and match bright colours.”

The Boutique and the Cavalli Caffè will be inter-connected and the Caffè will also extend outside towards the atrium of the mall. Roberto Cavalli Group already operates the Cavalli Caffè in Florence and upcoming openings are planned in Beirut, Kuwait City, Doha, Jeddah and Dubai. Company is also operating Cavalli Club in Milan, Dubai and soon to be in Miami by Spring 2013. By Mid 2013, an additional Roberto Cavalli Boutique and Cavalli Caffè will open in Mumbai, which will also be operated by Infinite Luxury Brands.
