Rocky S dazzles at Aza

Rocky S’ festive collection at Aza, Mumbai, showcased an array of lavish rich lehengas, saris

and fresh churidar kurtas,along with detailed sherwanis. With modern cuts and silk, chiffon, satin and crepe, he has captured the subtle gestures of brocades in colors like olive green, sunset orange, golden rust and maroon. Inspired by Rajasthan and Istanbul, Rocky S has produced feminine dresses and mini dresses which can be mixed and matched.

After a formal training at the JD Institute of Fashion Designing, and blessed with an innovative mind and novel ideas for clothing he just needed to polish his skills. Rocky S’ first job was that of a designer at a department store. After gaining experience, he entered the Hindi film industry where he designed clothes for big stars. Later, he started doing bridal couture, club wear, home furnishing and accessories and was the first Indian designer to launch a perfume. He has participated in a number of fashion shows, displaying his inventive and original styles.

Aza stores showcases the creations of India’s most talented and leading designers such as Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna, Varun Bahl and Sabyasachi Mukherjee to name a few. Started by Dr Alka Nishar Aza is now a platform for emerging and established fashion designers in the country.
