Rohit Bal to be the grand finale designer at WIFW

Designer Rohit Bal would bring the curtains down at the forthcoming edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week

(WIFW) Spring/Summer, starting from October 8, 2014 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. On the last day of the grand finale on October 12, the designer will present a royal tribute inspired by the glory of India's rich cultural heritage.

Bal’s collection showcased at the finale show will be retailed from the Wills Lifestyle stores across India. Rohit Bal is one of India's finest designers and is acclaimed worldwide for his traditional yet contemporary aesthetics and his client list includes a host of beauties like Cindy Crawford, Uma Thurman, Pamela Anderson to name just a few. It is his unique creative vision for which the influential Time Magazine has profiled him as the ‘Master of Fabric and Fantasy’.

Over the years, WIFW has shifted its focus from being just a runway event to ‘business event’ attracting attention of more designers as well as global buyers. Participating designers, young as well as most seasoned ones now emphasize upon the fact that the event has developed a solid platform in terms of business, becoming the most successful one in the country.
