Roposo gets funding from Binny Bansal & India Quotient

Gurgaon-based Relevant e-solutions, owner of Roposo.com, a fashion-focused social

network, has raised one million dollars (over Rs 600 crores) of funding through a bridge round from its existing investors, including Flipkart’s co-founder Binny Bansal and seed fund India Quotient. The company plans to use the funds for product development and category expansion. The startup had previously raised under 5,00,000 dollars (around Rs 3 crore) in its first round of funding from Bansal and India Quotient, besides 5 ideas Startup Superfuel, for its other entity Giveter.

Roposo was founded by Avinash Saxena, former CTO of Zomato, and Bhangadia, a senior consultant at Schlumberger Business Consulting. Launched in December last year, Roposo is a fashion-focused social network that allows women to discover and shop for new products. The company claims to be retailing over 2 lakh products across 5,000 brands from more than 150 vendors. All of these products are curated and recommended to each user as per shopper’s individual taste. The company is said to have crossed 100,000 unique monthly visitors.

Roposo
