Rudraksh displays young talent on its anniversary

celebrated its 5th anniversary on September 6, by showcasing five young talented designers straight from the Lakme Fashion Week’s ramp. In a span of five years, the store in Pune has launched more than 180 known and lesser known designers and has been an accredited buyer at the fashion weeks across the country.

Over the last five years, the store has cultivated a dedicated client base not just from all parts of Pune but also from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Ahmedabad besides NRIs. Since its inception, Rudraksh has believed in promoting deserving young talent and to commemorate its anniversary, Rudraksh hosted collections created by Aarti Vijay Gupta, Debarun, Pragya & Megha Samor, and Pune’s Jayesh & Rixi of Quirkbox and Karishma Shahani.

The design sensibilities of the collections on display were urban, kitsch and individualistic in their appeal. Worn by celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Rohit Bal, Neha Dhupia, Sarah Jane Diasand Shibani Kashyap, the range was youthful in vibrant colours and quirky prints. On display were crop tops, dresses, jackets, bottoms, jumpsuits, skirts and saris.

The first multi designer store in Pune, Rudraksh has successfully bridged the gap in the Pune market that existed for quality designer wear.
