Sabyasachi opens a new store in Mumbai

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has opened doors to a new flagship store in Mumbai. Located at Kala Ghoda

areas at Fort Mumbai, the store spreads over 8,500 square foot and two levels. It houses his wedding collectibles, ready-to-wear saris, Indian and western formal and casual clothes. There is a dedicated section for men’s wear. 'Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi' ready-to-wear line and his popular fashion accessories will also soon make their way into the store.

The store, adorned with 22 vintage hand-painted chandeliers, an Iranian carpet, four hundred Ittar bottles, 52 antique rugs and a framed period calendar art from the 1920s, it is a blend of historical pieces with to modern day look. The store also introduces bespoke bridal jewellery for the first time, designed by Kishan Das and Co of Hyderabad, and curated by Sabyasachi. The store offers everything a bride and groom would want to shop for on their D-Day.
