In Q2 this fiscal Sangam India has registered net

sales/income from operations of Rs 353.04 crores as against Rs 385.66 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. Net profit was at Rs 12.24 crores as against Rs 18.09 crore last year.

The company has reported net sales/income from operations of Rs 720.66 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2013 as against Rs 798.20 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2012. The net profit was at Rs 18.27 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2013 as against Rs 27.86 crores for the half-year ended September 30, 2012.

Sangam's Textile industry at Bhilwara, Rajasthan is one of the largest and most modernised unit in the country. The group's spinning division is ranked amongst the world's largest PV dyed yarn industry. Totally integrated division is equipped to produce from yarn to fabrics. The diversified industries include spinning, weaving, processing, denim manufacturing and knitting. Being the core business of Sangam Group, textiles account for the major revenue share in the group's earnings.
