Shane and Falguni design for Britney Spears

Mumbai-based designers Shane and Falguni Peacock have

designed one of Britney Spears’ looks for her upcoming music video. The entire dialogue and design process for the single Hold It Against Me took less than two weeks. The dress in red and pink features a long train, strong shoulders and plenty of embellishment. Shane and Falguni Peacock have dressed the likes of Fergie, Katy Perry, Cheryl Cole and Brandy. They love to dress their women in ultra-feminine and glamorous clothes. The brand is synonymous with high luxury pret, resort and evening wear.

The peacock label focuses on dresses that are dreamy, romantic and youthful with a strong sense of color, drama, and makes a style statement. The designers like to wrap the female form with fluid silks that blends into animal prints with complex textures. Embroidery is an integral part of Peacock’s designs and the duo use it lavishly and often incorporate gems and crystals into the extravagant use of diamantes to accentuate necklines with feathers and semiprecious stones. The label is also known for its unique and exotic prints. The silhouettes are graphically created in strong shapes and bright colors, gentle to the senses, classic yet very modern.
