Indian designers are all set to raise the heat in Shanghai with their fabulous designs this summer.

The Shanghai Fashion Week (SFW) starting today has invited select Indian designers to showcase their collections. After winning many hearts at the recent Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) designers Nikasha Tawdey, Anand Kabra and Sabyasachi Mukerjee are all set to woo Shanghai with their ensembles. The trio will exhibit the same designs they showed at the recent Lakme Fashion Week (LFW). All three designers were handpicked by the LFW team to represent India at the Asian Fashion Blooming segment.

It’s a matter of extreme pride that SFW wanted India to be a part of it as it is for the first time that Indian designers are participating in the event. What’s more, SFW has decided that the Indian designers will open the show. The three were selected because they suited the needs of SFW. According to them the designers are a perfect blend of young fashion designers and some established names whose work depicts the flavor of India’s contemporary fashion. They will show the Chinese, the variations in Indian fashion while getting to know their fashion sense.
