Shantanu and Nikhil plan foray into kids’ fashion

Designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil recently designed a special

signature kids’ line for the winners of Disney Channel’s Jet Set 2. The duo now plans to foray into kids' fashion wear industry and will launch their own brand.

They have dressed leading sports personalities of the world like Serena Williams, Glen McGrath, Stephen Fleming, Sania Mirza, Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan and Bollywood’s A-listers like Hrithik Roshan, Shahrukh Khan, A R Rahman, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. And, now they are ready to design clothes for young kids.

They find their foray into kids’ fashion as a natural progression. According to them, their lies a huge opportunity since in young, urban India, a major proportion of population is between 30-35 who are having kids or will have kids.

Culling the essence and emotions of Indian culture and marrying it with a modern western sensibility, Shantanu and Nikhil have a deeper, less obvious take on this new exotic fusion. Their ensembles present eternal femininity draped in lush classicism. With their unique subtext of delicate details, simple harmonies and rich textural formats, the brand has come to epitomize refinement and luxury in fashion.
