Shoppers Stop opens a store in Jaipur

Shoppers Stop has opened a new store at Jaipur International Airport. With the opening of

this store, the company now has 65 Shoppers Stop stores (including four airport stores) under its operations.

It also bagged a certificate for its best practice of ‘Innovative eco friendly practices in Retail - Qualifier top 20 best Practices’ held at the 5th Business Excellence Global Conference and 8th International Benchmarking Conference in Singapore. Shoppers Stop’s Home Stop division has bagged the GIA Award instituted by International Home ware Association (IHA), Chicago.

In the September quarter, Shoppers Stop added two new stores at Agra and Vadodara, two Clinique stores at Mumbai and Amritsar, two M.A.C stores at Bangalore and Amritsar and one HyperCity store at Vadodara, the company said. For the 2014 fiscal year, the company is targeting opening 12 new stores, of which 10 have already been opened.
