Signature gives a taste of world fashion

International designers from eight fashion capitals of the

world will be showcasing their collections at the Signature Premier International Fashion Tour 2011. The tour kick-started from Delhi on September 9 and the final leg will be held in Kolkata on October 9. Through this effort, Signature is bringing the world flavor of fashion into India. Fashion capitals like Sydney, Milan, Madrid, London, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, New York and Paris will be represented in Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai and Hyderabad respectively.

International designers part of the tour include: Frank Tell (New York), Wayne Cooper (Sydney), Christian Blaken (London), Silvio Betterelli (Milan), Anna Locking (Madrid), Emannuelle Junqueira (Sao Paulo) and Kevin O’Brian (Paris). Indian designers part of the tour include: Tarun Tahiliani, JJ Vallaya, Manav Gangwani, Varun Bahl, Manoviraj Khosla and Shane and Falguni Peacock. This is the first international tour in the history of the Indian fashion industry.

The showstoppers for each of these international designer creations will be the winner of the international beauty pageant of their respective country. Leading Indian designers will showcase their couture with fashion icons from Bollywood walking the ramp for them during this eight city tour. Each city of the Signature Premier Fashion Tour will mirror the designated fashion capital of the world through its settings, costumes, ambience etc. Star attraction includes international pageant winners like Rima Fakih (Miss USA), Katherine Brown (Miss UK) and Bollywood celebrities like Kunal Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. The novel features of this event will definitely create a distinct mark on the Indian fashion calendar.
