With cricket having the second largest fan following in India after Bollywood, it is no surprise thatAustralian spinner Shane Warne should target his line of apparel to his Indian fan base. Warne who is now a designer with his own clothing brand Spinners is going to debut his line internationally beginning with India. Currently, Spinners is only available in Australia at Target stores across the country. The sporty fashion line comprising menswear, boys’ wear, sleepwear and innerwear was launched in 2009 making headway in the `Spashion` (sport + fashion) market. The 41-year-old cricketer is now keen on expanding it globally. Designed personally by Warne, the sports inspired collection states that functionality is key with all pieces featuring soft, breathable fabrics. Spinners ensures the ultimate comfort for every man whether he’s bowling a flipper, sitting on the bench or enjoying a barbeque with friends and family, Ozzie style.
Warne says he is excited about launching Spinners globally. It`s no secret that he always loved India. He has experienced a strong support from Indian fans and is really looking forward to sharing his range of menswear, boys’ wear and innerwear with them.
