Suneet Verma at LFW finale

Suneet Verma will be the grand finale designer of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2010

to be held in Mumbai this March. Happy with the choice, Verma says he plans to present youthful and energetic designs on the ramp. He has been the grand finale designer twice before.
His theme, ‘Night Fever’ will be capturing the magic of dressing up for a summer night, the electric anticipation and free spirit in every woman on a night out in town.
The look has been created by well-known makeup expert Cory Walia and ace photographer Tarun Khiwal. While the designer has a sharp urban approach to style, his retro references of confident lines and color complement the already bold graphic makeup palette of the Lakmé collection for Night Fever. Suneet says his grand finale theme will be an ode to a woman’s beauty.
“Colors have so many moods -- you have muted color, dramatic color and then you have the confident color, a statement of individuality, passion and subtle panache that women will indulge in when wearing the Lakmé Grand Finale look this summer,” he says.
Lakme Fashion Week is organized twice every year. This year the LFW Summer/Resort 2010 will be held between March 5 and 9, 2010, at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
