Sunglass Hut, a leading international specialty sunglass retailer announced the launch of its first outlet

in Mumbai. The store, with 500 sq. ft. area, will be housed in the luxury wing of Palladium Mall. The Mumbai store launch marks the introduction of luxe eyewear brands such as Paul Smith, Tiffany & Co and Oliver Peoples for the first time in India. According to Pradeep Bhanot, Brand Manager, Sunglass Hut, Mumbai is known as the Mecca of Bollywood stars, trend-setters and fashion icons and they wish to give the fashionistas a wider array of eye accessories and the best in luxury international eyewear brands to choose from.

The retailer already has a presence in India. They have four stores, three in Delhi and the NCR region and one in Hyderabad. Sunglass Hut has received a great response in India so far. They are planning to create a chain of 30 outlets in the next three years across key cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai among others.

Sunglass Hut was introduced in India by fashion and lifestyle brand retailer DLF Brands in December 2008. It has one of the most exhaustive array of eyewear brands across price segments which includes coveted eyewear brands such as Bvlgari, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, D&G, Polo Ralph Lauren, Prada Linea Rossa, Oakley, Persol, DKNY and many more.
