German sportswear giant Adidas has roped in Indian

cricketer Suresh Raina as its brand ambassador. He will be sporting the company’s cricket gear in the ongoing T20 World Cup. “We are proud to support a gifted player like Raina who has always managed to create a big impact in the game whether through his batting, bowling or brilliant fielding skills,” Adidas India Brand Director Tushar Goculdas said in a statement.

He added that the relationship will only empower Raina further to deliver match winning performances and achieve more historic milestones. Commenting on the association with Adidas, Suresh Raina said, “It’s been a fantastic journey with Adidas and they have been extremely supportive throughout my career. Adidas has consistently enabled me to have an edge on and off the pitch with their revolutionary products”.

In its earlier association with Adidas, Raina only used to sport company’s shoe in terms of gear. The Adidas Group is a global leader of sporting goods, offering a broad range of products around the core brands: Adidas, Reebok, TaylorMade, Rockport and Reebok-CCM Hockey. Adidas has three brands in India, including the flagship brand that shares the same, Reebok and TaylorMade.
