Surily Goel to unveil resort wear line

Renowned fashion designer Surily Goel will be launching a resort wear line ‘Getaway Glam’

on December 13, at the JW Marriot in Mumbai. Specially designed for the holiday season, the collection consists of shift dresses, jumpsuits, kaftans and drapes as well as shorts and beach pants created in fabrics like georgette, jersey and lace. She has used black, cream, ivory, beige and marmalade hues to give a summery holiday feel to the line.

Floral prints, easy flowing silhouettes and sunset shades inspired by the holidays in Ibiza are a part of Goel’s designs. She also focuses on embroidery, foil printing and unique mirror work. For evening wear, dresses are embellished with sequins and jeweled stones.

Having established her presence as a designer, her long list of clientele includes Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Genelia D'Souza, Rani Mukherji, Hrithik Roshan, for whom, she has designed ensembles for various endorsements. She has also created costumes for movies like Salaam Namaste, Jaaneman, The Last Lear, Ishkq in Paris, Chance Pe Dance, Blue and Ta Ra Rum Pum.
