Surily Goel unveils floral designs for S/S

Designer Surily Goel’s latest Spring/Summer collection is a blend of radical designs and classic florals. The

range is a comprehensive mix of shift dresses, jumpsuits, kaftans and drapes as well as full length dresses having bell sleeves and subtle peplums sport a trendy summer silhouette.

With focusing on embroidery, foil printing and unique mirror work, Geol uses georgettes, jersey and lace as the main fabrics for her new collection. Summery hues of coral, mint, lime green and marmalade adds a versatile touch to the designs. For evening wear, dresses in metallic tomes are embellished with sequins and jewelled stones.

After studying fashion designing from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), Los Angeles, Goel launched her own label ‘Surily’ in November 2003. Her collection is retailed through Ensemble, Kimaya, Aza, Fiza and Hues. Having established her presence as a designer, her long list of clientele includes Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Genelia D'Souza, Rani Mukherji, Hrithik Roshan. She has also created costumes for movies like Salaam Namaste, Jaaneman, The Last Lear, Ishq in Paris, Chance Pe Dance, Blue and Ta Ra Rum Pum.
