Tahiliani and Isharya join hands for a trunk show in Dubai

Designer Tarun Tahiliani has teamed up with Isharya to organize a

trunk show in Dubai on Saturday April 26, at the Address Montogomery Hotel. The show is being organized by Kamu Vachani and Simran Shroff, who started the trunk show business in 2007.

Tahiliani’s Spring/Summer collection for 2014 takes inspiration from myriad ideas, sorbet colours to arcane techniques. With emphasis on prêt-a-porter, it focuses on separates that can be paired up to create various permutations and combinations. Motivated by European chintz to Bidri work to Jamawaar and abstract art, the collection has everything from a T-shirt and pencil skirt to a lehenga, kaftan or a sari. Summery fabrics like cottons and sushi voile, fine thread work and chikankari rule the ensembles.
